Levi Wright, son of rodeo star Spencer Wright, passed away following a tragic toy tractor accident
On May 21st, 3-year-old Levi Wright was hospitalized in critical condition after accidentally driving his toy tractor into a river near his family’s home in Utah. Emergency personnel were called and, upon arriving at the scene, found the young boy nearly a mile downstream and immediately began life-saving efforts.
Levi was airlifted to Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, where he was placed on life support in the ICU.

Two weeks after the accident, Kallie Wright shared that after consulting with the best doctors, much research, and prayer, she and Spencer had made the heartbreaking decision to take Levi off of life support. She wrote:
“Soon I’ll climb into bed with my baby and hold him as he falls asleep for the last time on this earth. We will miss him every second of every day down here but feel without unwavering doubt this is the best thing we can do for him!”
A family friend confirmed that Levi passed away on June 2, 2024.
Levi Wright is remembered for his “pure and tender” heart in a touching obituary
Following Levi’s death, his obituary was published by the Southern Utah Mortuary. It describes Levi, who was affectionately known as “Beans,” as “exceptionally thoughtful and considerate for his age.” The tribute continues:
“His Dad was who he looked up to most; he wanted to be just like him and was well on his way. He had a passion for tractors, excavators, skid steers and all heavy equipment, even his music choice followed suit-he was always asking to play Big Green Tractor and The Excavator Song.”

Kallie and Spencer Wright share a tribute video to Levi
As they mourn the loss of their beloved son, Kallie and Spencer Wright have shared a beautiful tribute video to memorialize happier times. The video is a compilation of clips showing Levi doing what he loved most – riding on the tractor, playing with his dogs, and enjoying time with his family.
