Jon Pardi And His Wife, Summer, Share Two Daughters
Jon Pardi‘s latest song, “She Drives Away,” was inspired by a special person in his life, his two-year-old daughter, Presley.
The singer married his wife, Summer, in November 2020 in a beautiful ceremony at Saddle Woods Farm in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Presley Fawn, on February 18, 2023. Their second daughter, Sienna Grace, joined their family on July 16, 2024.

As Jon prepared the songs for his upcoming album, Honkytonk Hollywood, he knew he had to include one track, “She Drives Away.”
Jon shared the first preview of “She Drives Away” on Presley’s second birthday. Alongside a video of them making some special memories together, he wrote:
“Can’t believe Presley is 2!!! No one is lying when they say it goes by quick! Happy birthday baby girl. Here is a little teaser of one of my favorite songs off the new album.”

Later, Jon announced his plans to release “She Drives Away” on Friday (March 14). Alongside another adorable video of him and Presley, he wrote, “Becoming a dad 2 years ago has been my biggest blessing.”
Jon Pardi Tugs At The Heartstrings With New Song, “She Drives Away”
Just as Jon promised, “She Drives Away” debuted on March 14. The heartfelt song opens with lyrics about an anxious father sitting down to chat with his daughter’s boyfriend before they leave for a date.
As they drive off, the father finds himself, “Thinking how it feels like yesterday, he drove her home. Now she drives away.“
The daughter and her boyfriend get married. The lyrics reference Tim McGraw‘s beloved father-daughter song, “My Little Girl,” as it goes:
“He’s fighting tears while they’re dancing to ‘My Little Girl.’ It ain’t just cans on a Chevy. It’s his whole world.”
Finally, the song ends from the younger man’s perspective. He and his wife have just welcomed a baby girl, and he’s already dreading the day she’ll grow up and leave.
As he sings, “It’s like they took out my heart, and wrapped it in pink.”
