Fixer Upper star Joanna Gaines shared an adorable video of her youngest son, Crew, in their garden taking it upon himself to make sure all the strawberries were up to par.
In January 2018, Chip announced that he and Joanna were expecting baby number five. Chip shared the exciting news on Instagram with a photo of himself sticking his belly out to mimic a baby bump, while Joanna has her hand on his “baby bump,” she is clearly sporting a real one herself.
At the time of the announcement, Chip and Joanna had two girls and two boys, so this baby was about to break the tie!
Two months after their pregnancy announcement, Chip spilled the beans on what gender their baby would be–a boy!

On June 23, 2018, Chip announced the arrival of Baby Gaines #5 on Twitter.
And then there were 5.. The Gaines crew is now 1 stronger! 10 beautiful toes and 10 beautiful fingers all accounted for, and big momma is doing great! #blessedBeyondBelief

After Baby Gaines #5 arrived Joanna posted to Instagram about the unexpected quick and early arrival of their new bundle of joy and also revealed his name.
“Our baby boy, Crew Gaines, is here and we couldn’t be more in love. He made an unexpected (and speedy) entrance into the world two and a half weeks early – which is fitting given he was a sweet surprise from day one. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. We are so grateful,” Joanna wrote.

Crew celebrated his first birthday on June 23, 2019.

In the most recent video, Joanna shared, Crew is strolling through their strawberry garden carefully picking a strawberry from each bush along the way, eating it, and leaving a trail of half-eaten strawberries and stems behind. In a video posted to her stories she captioned, “I finally found the little critter who has been half eating all the strawberries.”
Crew has been nothing short of joy and excitement since he arrived and truly made the Gaines family complete.
