Jelly Roll has embarked on a weight loss journey to improve his health and happiness
At the end of last year, Jelly Roll made the decision to get his weight under control and dramatically improve his health. He shared with Fox News Digital that he does not have a specific weight loss goal in mind. Instead, he prioritizes being happy and feeling better overall.
In January, he partnered with fitness trainer and biologist Gary Brecka for the ambitious goal of losing 250lbs in 12-14 months.
With a starting weight of 494lbs, the “Son Of A Sinner” singer told his trainer:
“You know Gary, this is the first time that I felt like my weight is killing me.”
Throughout the year, Jelly Roll has shared periodic weight loss updates with those who are following his journey. After he reached the milestone of 50lbs lost, Brecka shared:
“From tackling those daily steps to embracing a whole new lifestyle, it’s been nothing short of inspiring to witness. Down 53 pounds and fueled by determination, Jelly Roll’s story is a testament to the power of simple changes and steadfast commitment. Thank you for sharing your journey and proving that every step counts towards a healthier, brighter future. Let’s keep moving forward, one step at a time.”
