Jelly Roll’s Inspiring Weight Loss Journey
Since beginning his health and fitness journey in 2022, Jelly Roll has shed an impressive 275 pounds.
On January 2nd, he celebrated a major milestone by landing on the cover of Men’s Health. The achievement was a longtime coming, after back in December 2024 the “Save Me” singer announced his goal during an episode of the Dumb Blonde podcast, hosted by his wife, Bunnie Xo.
Since then, Jelly has been extremely transparent about his journey, sharing the highs and lows that come with losing a significant amount of weight.
Jelly is doing things he hasn’t been able to do in years now that he has lost a significant amount of weight. During a summer tour stop last year in Berlin, Germany, the “Wild Ones” singer did something he wanted to do for over a decade.
In a video he posted to his Instagram at the time, the singer can be seen riding an electric scooter through the streets, grinning from ear to ear.
His hard work and dedication is evident in his transformation, and Jelly appears to be enjoying every single moment of it.

Jelly’s Weight Loss Has Impacted More Than Just Himself
While his health journey has undeniably improved his own life, Jelly shares the change has also made a tremendous difference in his role as a father.
Jelly Roll and his wife, Bunnie XO, married in 2016 and have custody of his teenage daughter, Bailee. He also has an eight-year-old son named Noah from his previous marriage. The “Save Me” singer remains extremely close with his children, and has credited Bunnie for her nurturing relationship with them.
In a red carpet interview with Extra TV this week (January 21), Jelly Roll shared that his weight loss has made it easier for him to be more present in the lives of Bailee and Noah.
“I’m a better father. I’m more present with my children,” Jelly explained. “You should see it, dude. I’m coaching my son’s basketball team this year. They’re kids, so it’s not like I’m coaching a competitive team here…but I just feel physically better.”
He explained that he’s a “whole different human” than he was before his radical transformation.
