Meet Jelly Roll’s Daughter, Bailee

On top of being one of country music’s fastest rising stars, Jelly Roll is also a father of two. He has a daughter named Bailee (age 15) and a son named Noah (age seven).

Bailee was born while Jelly Roll was incarcerated. Once he was a free man, Jelly Roll worked to turn his life around and pursued his music career. He married his now-wife Bunnie Xo in 2016, who he credits with helping him bond with Bailee.

In a post he made on Facebook in 2020, Jelly Roll gushed about Bunnie’s qualities as a stepmom, saying:

It takes a special kind of woman to raise a kid that isn’t her child and still treat the child as if she was . Bunnie is that special woman…over the years watching her relationship with Bailee blossom into this beautiful mother daughter bond that it has become has been nothing short of magical. I have truly been blessed with the best partner I could’ve asked for in life . You are the epitome of a good mom and deserve more credit than anyone because you didn’t have to step up to the plate the way you did. You chose to step up and man you have knocked it out of the park.”

Jelly Roll Surprises Crowd By Singing Duet With His Daughter

Like her father, Bailee also loves music. She felt a draw toward it at a young age, when she started writing songs.

During a recent show in Alpharetta, Georgia, Jelly Roll surprised the crowd by bringing Bailee onstage. He told a story about a song she wrote a few years ago when she was only 10 years old

“A few years back, Bailee came to me and said that she wanted to do a song, and she told me she wanted to use writing as a means of therapy. She was probably 10 years old, nine years old at the time. And I said, ‘Well, I’d love for you to write something and if it’s good, we’ll put it on my album.’ And a few years back we did. This is the song we wrote. She wrote this song, it’s called ‘Tears Could Talk.'”

Jelly Roll asked the crowd if they’d mind letting him have a “daddy and daughter moment” with Bailee. Of course, everyone was excited to hear them sing “Tears Could Talk” together live.
