Jason Aldean’s six-year-old daughter, Navy, ended up spending part of her weekend in urgent care after coming down with a nasty virus.
In a now-expired Instagram Story, Jason Aldean’s wife, Brittany, shared that she took their daughter to the doctor after she developed a fever that lasted long enough to become a concern.
“Love a little urgent care visit on a Saturday,” Brittany wrote alongside a photo of herself holding a coffee cup while sitting in the waiting room.
Fans weren’t sure what was wrong at first, but later, Brittany shared a more detailed update about what was happening.
“Hey guys, all is well,” she reassured. “Navy just has a virus and had a really high temperature.”
Brittany explained that at first, she tried to let Navy’s fever “run its course,” but when it wouldn’t break, she decided it was best to have her checked out.
And as anyone who’s been to urgent care on a weekend knows, it can get pretty crowded. Brittany said they had a long wait before Navy was finally seen.
The good news is that the doctors confirmed she will be just fine.
“And then we just waited hours for them to say, ‘It just needs to run its course and there’s really nothing you can do about it, so…” Brittany added, smiling and giving a thumbs up before taking a much-needed sip from her wine glass.
Navy seemed to be improving fairly quickly. Shortly after, Brittany shared another post showing her six-year-old sitting by the pool with a big smile on her face.
“Tough little babe,” she wrote along with the picture.
Brittany and Jason Aldean Have Been Making Frequent Trips To The Doctor’s Lately
Just last month, they took their seven-year-old son, Memphis, to the emergency room after he injured his collarbone.
Thankfully, it was just a fracture, and Memphis healed fast after wearing a sling for a few weeks.
Needless to say, unexpected doctor’s visits are just part of being a parent, and Brittany and Jason are handling it like champs.
