Nearing the end of 2017, country music superstar Jason Aldean and his beautiful wife Brittany welcomed home their first child together in the form of adorable baby boy Memphis Aldean Williams.
As many new parents know, it’s important to get out of the house after a long pregnancy and hectic first few months of taking care of a newborn. The Nashville sweethearts recently took off for a much needed vacation to reconnect and enjoy the sunshine, “parent shamers” taking to their comments section on social media to share their critical and uninvited opinions on the matter.
After reading through the comments followers were leaving on their vacation photos, Brittany responded to the “ignorant comments” with a fiery post to Instagram.
“Much needed vacay☀️ Just a word of wisdom for all the parent shamers… vacations are ok for new parents to take. Sometimes after being pregnant for almost a year, cooped up in a house for weeks at a time, you need a little sunshine and adult time. IT IS NOT OK to leave your ignorant comments. If you don’t agree with something, PLEASE… do me a favor and unfollow me. You will NOT be missed♥️ And for all the sweet, positive, happy people… we love you and thank you!!??” Brittany captioned a photo featuring her and Jason on a scenic beach.
Memphis was born Friday (Dec. 1), weighing in at 9 lbs. and 5 oz., Brittany regarding the day as “hands down the happiest day” of her life on a post to Instagram.
While Memphis is the country singer’s first son, Jason has two daughters – Keeley (14) and Kendyl (10) – from a previous marriage.
