Actress and singer Jana Kramer has tied the knot with former soccer coach Allan Russell in a magical ceremony at Carnell Estate in Scotland.
Their beautiful wedding took place on July 13, 2024, with just 35 close family and friends in attendance.
The couple opted for a cozy celebration, inviting only their closest loved ones. Held at a charming Scottish estate, the wedding was rich in Scottish traditions, honoring Russell’s heritage and adding a special flair to their big day.

Finding the perfect venue was challenging, but Kramer discovered the stunning Carnell Estate on Airbnb.
The couple revealed that they wanted a location where everyone could gather and stay together, and this Scottish castle provided the perfect backdrop for their fairytale wedding.
“We really wanted it to be like everyone was together in one place. That was just super important to me,” Kramer told PEOPLE.
At the celebration, guests wore kilts, bagpipes played, and they enjoyed a ceilidh, a traditional Scottish music and dance gathering. The wedding cake, dressed with Russell’s family tartan ribbon, featured layers of fruit, chocolate, and vanilla. The menu was a mix of traditional dishes, including haggis pie, alongside classic options like chicken and steak.
Kramer’s children played significant roles in the ceremony.
Jolie (8) was the flower girl and Jace (5) was the ring bearer. Russell’s son, Troy (16), served as an usher. Even baby Roman (8 months), who is the couple’s first child together, got in on the action, wearing an adorable, tiny kilt.
The couple decided to write their own vows. Russell memorized his and Kramer opted to read hers to avoid being overcome with emotion. Kramer said that she was “nervous about the vows because I don’t feel like I’m going to be able to get through them without bawling my eyes out.”

Kramer also made the unconventional choice to walk down the aisle alone.
She shared on her podcast, Whine Down, that this decision was a sweet, symbolic representation of her journey.
“‘It’s a walk that I need to take by myself,'” Kramer said she told her father. “And then that made me start crying, and I was like, ‘It’s taken me a long time to get here and I know that this will be the last walk I do alone.'”
Following the wedding, Kramer and Russell are set to enjoy a week-long honeymoon in Italy, while Kramer’s parents take the kids back to the States.
