The popular show has been aired on cable TV every year either on CBS or ABC but after Apple TV+ became the exclusive home of all Charlie Brown specials at the beginning of 2020, it was removed from being aired.
The Charlie Brown classic along with others were made available only on Apple’s streaming service and that was met with a very pubic outcry from fans of the show who were not happy about having the tradition broken.
Due to the upset, this year, Apple has decided to partner up with PBS and PBS Kids and allow It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown to be aired on October 24 at 7:30pm eastern standard time.
In addition to that, later the next month, A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving will also be airing on PBS and PBS Kids on Sunday, November 21 at 7:30pm, as well as A Charlie Brown Christmas which will air on December 19 at 7:30pm.
