Gwen Stefani’s 15-year-old son, Zuma, made a surprise appearance at Blake Shelton’s Ole Red bar in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, Monday night (July 29).
In a message posted to social media Monday afternoon, Blake Shelton announced that he was going to drop by the bar to “grab some food and planned to “hop up and play 3 or 4 songs.” Fans packed the venue to catch a glimpse of the star and hear some of his hits.
But a bigger surprise was in store! Blake Shelton’s stepson, Zuma, was invited to the stage to sing, marking his stage debut. Zuma is Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale’s second son.

Zuma received a warm welcome to the stage by a cheering crowd. Blake helped the teen adjust his microphone as he settled on a stool and started singing Zach Bryan’s “Oklahoma Smokeshow.” Blake Shelton could be seen sitting on the other end of the stage, beaming with pride as he watched Zuma.
Zuma wasn’t the only one of Gwen Stefani’s kids to make their stage debut at Ole Red Tishomingo.
Nearly one year ago, Zuma’s older brother Kingston, now 18, also debuted at Ole Red. He received a similar introduction from his step-dad, Blake Shelton, who is clearly one of their biggest fans.
In an interview earlier this year, Blake opened up about being a stepdad to Gwen’s three boys and revealed that it has changed him “in every possible way.” In a 2022 interview with PEOPLE, Blake shared similar thoughts, saying:
“They’ve taught me something about myself that I never knew: I’m more than just a country singer or a goofy guy. I’m someone they actually lean on, and that’s not a responsibility that I ever had and not something that I ever considered even being into.”
“It’s a different kind of self-worth,” he added. “Maybe it’s the opposite of self-worth because you put yourself way down on the rung, and they move up ahead of you.”
