Granger Smith Shares Story Of How The Lord Delivered Him Against All Odds
Country singer turned pastor Granger Smith shared a sweet story of how the Lord provided for him and his daughter while traveling recently amid powerful storms.
Granger shared how him and his daughter, London, were on their way home from a mission’s trip abroad and trying to get to Texas.
He explained how mass flight cancellations from the storm caused his last chance at a ride to fail with only eleven hours until his grandmother’s funeral.
“To say this was a desperately low moment is an understatement,” Granger shared of the ordeal, saying that he had almost given up all hope.
London and Granger recalled how a man miraculously gave them a ride, sharing that he was also a believer and affirmed to the two that the Lord always provides.
Granger Shares The Hope Of Christ
Last month, Granger posted a heartwarming message to his social media following the deadly flash floods in Central Texas.
The singer shared with his followers the good news of Christ, and the hope that they are never alone, even through this unthinkable tragedy.
“We have a savior, who is intimately familiar with sorrow,” Granger said. “One who suffered and died for his people so that through faith we, his people, could be set free from the fallen world once and for all. And that’s why we have hope.”
Granger has dedicated his life to not only serving Christ but also helping others who are deeply suffering.
He often posts short reels on his personal social media, sharing Bible verses and giving encouraging words of hope.

Granger Retires From Country Music To Pursue Ministry
In April 2023, Granger announced that he would be stepping away from his career as a country music singer, sharing at the time that his Like A River Tour would be his last.
Following the tragic death of his three-year-old son, River, in 2019, Granger and his wife Amber have been open about their grief and their relationship with Christ getting them through the toughest moments of their lives.
This summer is my last ever tour. I have felt a strong desire to pursue ministry. This doesn’t mean I’m going to start a church or a crusade, or a revival,” Granger shared in 2023. “This means me and my family are going to serve our local church. We’re going to pour into that church as members and have my pastors and elders pour into me and disciple me and teach me as I sit under their wise teaching. Then Lord willing, one day they can affirm me into the next steps of what that might look like to glorify God best from my platform.”
