If you talk to anyone who has ever owned a goat, they’ll probably tell you that they can be very silly, curious, and mischievous creatures to have as pets.

However, occasionally the things that make them great can sometimes be problematic. Such was the case for a one particular sheriff in Douglas County, Georgia.

Finding the event rather humorous, the Sheriff’s Office posted the video of the encounter on their Facebook page. They explained that the officer routinely leaves her vehicle’s door open because she has had to retreat on a number of occasions from vicious dogs.
“Even though she was knocked to the ground she was not physically harmed in the incident. At the end of the day we all got a little laugh out of it and we hope you do as well!”
A goat decided to hop into her patrol car and check things out while she was delivering civil papers. It started to munch on documents so the the deputy hurried back to the car and tried to nudge the goat from the front seat while fighting for papers in its mouth. The goat then kicked over a drink and eventually head-butted the officer, knocking her to the ground. It was all captured on bodycam footage.
