Taking to the stage for the very first all-female CMT Artists Of The Year special, two treasured members of country group Little Big Town reunited with soul legend Gladys Knight for a performance that will knock your socks off!

Previously, Knight and Little Big Town had joined forces for a charity event benefitting a local North Carolina community center and was aptly titled An Evening with Gladys Knight and Friends. They had so much fun working together then – they couldn’t resist getting back together for this special event honoring the women in country music!

Performing the Bonnie Raitt classic “I Can’t Make You Love Me” and the Kris Kristofferson-penned tune “Help Me Make It Through The Night,” the voices of Karen Fairchild, Gladys Knight, and Kimberly Schlapman soared across the venue, reaching tremendous heights with each and every note. Blending the best of delicate sounds with powerhouse vocals, these three were truly a remarkable sight.

Gladys Knight’s appearance on stage was perhaps the most anticipated of the night. As she walked out on stage with the ladies of Little Big Town, the crowd erupted. Like the seasoned entertainer she is, Knight held the audience in the palm of her hand throughout the performance. But, the crowd was especially responsive as she delivered the well-known lyrics to “Help Me Make It Through The Night,” a song she recorded decades ago.

On top of the amazing performances like this, CMT’s all-new format for their “Artists Of The Year” celebration is also honoring one of the biggest names in country music history for their coveted Artist Of A Lifetime award – Loretta Lynn!

The other award honorees are Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott, Kelsea Ballerini, and Maren Morris!

Take a peek at this incredible collaboration between Little Big Town’s stunning female members and an iconic soul legend. We are sure you’ll be delighted!
