Mike Wolfe, the star of the History Channel show American Pickers, and his girlfriend were involved in a car accident.
American Pickers star Mike Wolfe and his girlfriend, Leticia Cline, were in a car accident on Friday (Sept. 12). The history buff posted about the crash the next day, writing, “Leticia and I were involved in a car accident last evening in Columbia, TN. By the grace of God, we’re both safe and okay.”
He continued, “We are both receiving excellent care and while Leticia is still in the hospital, she is expected to make a full recovery. Thank you for respecting our privacy at this time and we appreciate all your love & prayers. God bless.”

He also shared a photo of the car he was driving to show the damage it sustained.
Wolfe also wrote, “It’s been a rough nite [sic] but now there’s light at the end of the tunnel. I truly believe in the power of group prayers thank you to all of you that have sent them to us.”

In an Instagram Story on September 13, Cline revealed her injuries: jaw broken in three places, broken ribs, broken sternum, collapsed lung, and swelling on her spine. She also revealed that she will ned multiple surgeries and that eventually, her mouth will be wired shut to allow for her jaw to heal.

Mike Wolfe’s Girlfriend, Leticia, Shares New Details About The Crash – And Photos Of Her Injuries
On September 17, Leticia, who also goes by “Trish,” revealed details about the crash on Instagram.
“Friday evening around 5pm, Mike and I were in a terrible car accident on Hwy 7 outside Columbia, TN,” she wrote. “A man driving an SUV pulled out from a side street, and we had little to no time to react. We were in an old Porsche 356, with Mike driving, and although we were both wearing seatbelts, they were only lap belts.”
Cline revealed that her side of the vehicle took the brunt of the impact as Wolfe was swerving to avoid the driver of the SUV.
They were both taken to Vanderbilt Hospital, Wolfe by ambulance and she was airlifted to the hospital due to her extensive injuries.
Wolfe was released the following morning with a broken nose, a few stitches, and bruising on his face. She says he is incredibly lucky because the sterring wheel broke off and he “could have been impaled by the steering column.”
She detailed her injuries, also revealing that her jaw was dislocated and that she still has all her teeth, even though they are not in the right places at the moment.
Cline said she underwent one procedure already and on Monday (Sep 22), she will have another.
“After that, I’ll leave with a wired jaw and a long road of rehab ahead. Even with all this,” she wrote, “I know we are lucky…I avoided brain damage, and I am surrounded by an amazing team of doctors, our family, friends, and our pastor. For that, I am deeply grateful.”
She thanked everyone who has reached out or prayed for her and Mike’s recoveries, and revealed she is most scared about not having her voice as a councilperson, mother, and business owner. But she knows all too well how quickly life can be taken away, as she revealed her father died when she was younger from a car crash.
“Every moment is a gift, and I don’t take that lightly. I lost my father at a young age in an accident on the interstate, and I know all too well how suddenly life can be taken away. I would never wish that kind of pain on my son or on Mike’s daughter, and for that reason I am endlessly grateful that we are still here. Broken, yes, but alive, together, and given another chance to hold on to the people we love.”
Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with Tish as she undergoes surgery and recovers.
