Georgette Jones, daughter to country music legends Tammy Wynette and George Jones, took to social media on Mother’s Day to honor and remember her mother.
On Sunday, May 9, 2021, Georgette honored her late mother with a handful of photos along with a beautifully written caption that summed up how she still feels about the woman who raised her.
“Happy Mother’s day, Momma! Thank you for loving me so unconditionally. Thank you for teaching me so many important lessons in life. I lost you when I was only 27 and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t feel robbed, but I know I had a full lifetime of your love before you were gone. I cherish every memory we made and you’re in my heart forever until I get to one day see you again in paradise. I love and miss you, Momma.”

The first photo featured is a black and white picture of Georgette as a baby. Her mother is looking at her with the biggest smile while holding her in her arms.
In the second photo, Georgette is slightly older and not at all enthused by having her picture taken.
