Congratulations are in order for country singer Gary Allan!
Singer-songwriter Gary Allan, 56, wed his long-time love, Molly Martin, in a private ceremony on February 5th, 2024. The couple had been engaged for over two years and spontaneously decided to tie the knot at the Sumner County majors office in Gallatin, Tennessee, with just the officiant, who was the mayor himself, and the photographer as witnesses.
The “Watching Airplanes” singer told PEOPLE:
“Molly and I had been trying to find the right time and right spot to get married, and we just decided the time was now. We just didn’t want to keep waiting.”
He added they they may choose to have a larger celebration down the road, but for the time being, they are “happy to be husband and wife.”

Reflecting on the intimate setting where he said “I do,” Allan shared:
“We wanted something low-key that was representative of some of our favorite times together. We had a private ceremony close to home, then ended the day with dinner and drinks with a few close friends. It could not have been a more perfect day!”

On a brisk December day in 2021, Gary Allan got down on one knee at Cheekwood Estate and Gardens in Nashville, Tennessee, to ask his Molly to marry him. The couple was surrounded by string lights and stood underneath a sparkling chandelier, creating a magical setting.
Allan shared a series of photos online and excitedly told followers, “She said yes!!!”
