One of country music’s chart-topping singers and incredible songwriters has just entered a wonderful new chapter of his life – and we couldn’t be more thrilled for him!
Known for both his own string of country hits and also for writing supersonic songs for other artists, Eric Paslay has now accomplished yet another of his lifelong dreams: building a family.
Paslay and wife Natalie announced that they were expecting their very first baby back in July with a fun and witty Instagram post! The two posed for a kiss on a Nashville sidewalk as Paslay had his guitar case open and looked like he was busking for dollars.
In the foreground of the photo, a sign read “Need Diaper $” in a funny twist on traditional pregnancy announcements.
The two wed back in 2015 after dating for several years. Natalie is a former song-plugger, so they both share a deep-seated love of music.
During their pregnancy announcement, neither of them revealed their due date or the sex – but that day has now come!
People Magazine got the exclusive interview with the gushing couple and we are happy to report that little Piper Lily Paslay was born at 9:37 A.M. on Saturday, December 8th – weighing just 7lbs, 2 oz.
“It took three days for us to name her! We needed to get to know our baby girl before we could choose,” the couple told the publication. “After getting many smiles and much laughter from all her cute little sounds and squeaks, Piper suddenly fell into place and seemed right for her.”
“We are completely in love with our little girl and looking forward to the happiest Christmas of our lives with this beautiful gift from God.”
