A playful moment on stage sent fans into a frenzy—now Ella Langley is setting the record straight.
Months ago, rumors began circulating about a potential romantic relationship between Ella Langley and Riley Green, sparked by the release of their viral hit “You Look Like You Love Me.”
Although the speculation has never been confirmed, fans are unable to let it go due to the undeniable chemistry they share in the music video and on stage.
The song achieved significant success, winning Visual Media of the Year and Single of the Year at the 2025 Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards. Additionally, it garnered the award for Musical Event of the Year at the 2024 CMA Awards. This growing success has kept the rumors at the forefront of everyone’s minds.

The Rumors Only Escalated
Rumors began to escalate when country music star Megan Moroney’s name was mentioned. Fans started noticing subtle “hints” suggesting that Riley Green and Megan Moroney might be in a relationship.
These clues included a man’s watch (assumed to be Riley’s) that was spotted in the background of one of Megan Moroney’s Instagram posts and several comments that Riley Green made on her Instagram using his dog’s account.
This led to rumors that Green might have left Langley for Moroney. However, none of these rumors were confirmed by any of the artists.
Until Ella Langley gave a suggestive wink on stage.
When a fan held up a sign that said, “Wink if Riley’s a dumba–” Langley gave an over-exaggerated wink.

According to a recent interview that Langley went on, the wink was taken out of context.
When asked about it, she said,
“Let me tell you, the next day he texts me, ‘That video is not the sweetest thing I’ve seen,'” she recounts. “I was like, ‘Ok, hear me out.'”
The singer said it was just her humor and did not mean it.
“So whenever I answered that,” she explains, “I was answering that as myself, not like as ‘Ella Langley.’ Like, I was just kind of answering the joke.”
