Robert Irwin Wins Dancing With The Stars Season 34

Robert Irwin made history with his older sister Bindi in 2025 after the two became the first siblings to win Dancing With The Stars. In 2015, Bindi won her season with partner Derek Hough, and an entire decade later, Robert took home his own Mirrorball trophy!

Partnered with professional dancer Witney Carson, Robert quickly became a fan favorite, impressing the judges week after week—an especially remarkable achievement given that he joined Dancing with the Stars with no previous dance experience.

After topping the leaderboard on premiere night, Robert remained a steady presence near the top of the rankings, earning accolades for both his growing skill and his undeniable charisma on the dance floor.

In November 2025, host Alfonso Ribeiro revealed that Robert and Witney were the champions of the season!

Robert Returns To The Australia Zoo

On January 8, Robert shared an adorable video bringing home the mirror ball trophy to the Australia Zoo. He shared different wildlife giving the mirror ball a kiss, including a giant snake (that he allowed to slither over him!) and a fuzzy, sweet koala.

“The mirrorball has made it home – had to show my friends what I’ve been up to 🪩🐨,” Robert wrote.

Sister Bindi also made an appearance in the video, with her and Robert “cheersing” their trophies together in celebration. Robert’s young niece, Grace, could be seen in the end gushing over the mirror balls.

Then, just a few days later, Robert announced he was reuniting Witney, this time in his home country. The duo posted a video on social media, wearing Robert’s traditional “zoo chic” wear, trotting through the famous zoo.

“We are BACK. Team IrWINit reunited,” Robert wrote.

Witney didn’t just come alone, though, she also brought her supportive husband, Carson, and two adorable toddler boys. She later thanked Robert for welcoming their family, acknowledging how he put “so much energy and time into planning every detail.”

Robert Irwin Shares Why He Was Excited To Leave The Big City

Just a few months after his incredible Dancing With The Stars win, Robert shared why he had no issues heading back home after spending so much time in Los Angeles.

“Being in L.A. for the last three months has been wonderful, but I am not a city kid,” Robert recently said in an interview with The West Australian . “I live out in the bush and have grown up there, so it’s good to be back where there’s a bit of greenery.”

While Robert is not living back in Australia just yet, he is enjoying a more rugged landscape as he films a new season of I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! in South Africa.

“I couldn’t wait to get here, actually,” he told the outlet.
