John Luke & Mary Kate Robertson Announced In October 2025 That They Were Expecting Twins
John Luke and Mary Kate Robertson’s twins have arrived!
Duck Dynasty fans have followed John Luke and Mary Kate’s journey for several years now. Their wedding was featured on an episode of the show in 2015.

Even after Duck Dynasty ended, fans followed along with John Luke and Mary Kate’s journey on social media. That journey led them to parenthood, and they welcomed their first child, John Shepherd, on October 14, 2019.
Their first daughter, Ella, arrived on April 8, 2021. They welcomed another son, Wells, on September 12, 2023.
Then, the couple surprised their followers on October 3, 2025, when they announced they were expecting twins!
“Absolutely thrilled to tell y’all we are welcoming TWINS to our family early next year!!!” they shared in a joint post on Instagram. “The most wonderful, crazy surprise blessing of our lives ha! Two new little Robertson girls!“

John Luke and Mary Kate never shared exactly when their daughters were due to arrive. They simply said Mary Kate was due “early” in 2026.
John Luke’s mother, Korie, offered a clue about the twins’ due date when she uploaded pictures on February 10 from a baby “sprinkle” honoring Mary Kate.
“Cannot believe we get the privilege of welcoming twin girls into the fam soon!” Korie said in the caption.
Turns out that “soon” was on February 24. That’s when the Robertson twins made their way into the world!
John Luke and Mary Kate waited until March 1 to share the news of the twins’ birth. Their announcement included a series of sweet photos that show their daughters wearing adorable sweaters with their names woven on the front: Sylvie and Francie.
“We welcomed our girls into the world last week on 2/24 & are absolutely bursting with joy!!!” John Luke and Mary Kate shared in a join post on Instagram. “Life is already so much sweeter with Sylvie & Francie in it. So thankful for these precious gifts!!“
