Si Robertson Was Injured After Falling Out Of His Boat On A Recent Hunting Trip
Duck Dynasty star Uncle Si is back with an update on his health after his recent ER visit.
Uncle Si recently went duck hunting in Arkansas with his Duck Call Room podcast co-host, Justin Martin, and two other friends. 76-year-old Si now uses an oxygen machine, but doesn’t let it stop him from participating in his favorite pastimes.

The group enjoyed a successful hunt. They returned to shore via their boat, which they loaded up with all of their gear.
As Martin relayed on Duck Call Room, Uncle Si rushed to get off the boat. Instead of waiting for them to unload the gear so he could get off the front, he tried to hop off the side.
“Typical Silas Robertson, he’s in a dang hurry to get out of the boat and into the Polaris, he fell,” Martin said. “He fell trying to get out of the boat…it’s steep right there. He went to take a long step instead of waiting on us.”
Uncle Si fell on his oxygen machine. While he claimed to be just fine, he didn’t act like his typical self.
“He’s just sitting outside in the cold,” Martin said. “I immediately thought he had a concussion because it was out of character. We ate and he was real quiet. Another red flag, right?“
Three days after they returned to their home state of Louisiana, Uncle Si went to the ER. He experienced a lot of pain and had low oxygen numbers.

Thankfully, x-rays showed that Si didn’t break any ribs, but they were bruised. Results from his bloodwork indicated he was in good health otherwise.
Martin theorized Uncle Si may have experienced some panic attacks about his health, which caused his low oxygen levels. Once Si learned everything was alright, his oxygen levels normalized.
Uncle Si returned to the Duck Call Room podcast the following week to share an update after his ER visit. He reassured fans he’s doing much better now.
“This body that God gave us is quite amazing when you think about it,” he said. “…I feel pretty good. I’ve still got a twinge [of pain].”
Uncle Si said he still has a little bit of his prescribed medication left to take. But other than the slight pain he feels now, he’s doing alright.
The news comes as Uncle Si and other Robertson family members prepare to revive Duck Dynasty. The rebooted series is slated to premiere on A&E later this year.
Uncle Si confirmed he will appear on the show. He said, “Duck Dynasty: The Revival? They couldn’t do it without me, Jack! It’s gonna be a blast!”
