All of the Robertson brothers’ kids were still fairly young while Duck Dynasty was on the air. Most of the kids are grown up now, and some of them have gotten married and started their own families.
Mia Robertson, the youngest of Jase and Missy’s three kids, was only 10 years old when Duck Dynasty premiered in March 2012. She is now 18, with her 19th birthday approaching on September 12.
It’s hard to believe, but Missy just dropped Mia off to start her freshman year of college. Back in June, Missy shared that Mia accepted a scholarship from Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee. She is majoring in biology.
“Her dad and I are so very proud of the woman she has become!” Missy said.

Missy got Mia all set up in her dorm room a few days ago. She shared some photos of her and Mia on campus, and reflected on this emotional time:
“She’s prepared, determined, excited, and a bit anxious,” Missy said. “The moment when you say goodbye kinda sneaks up on you and brings out a few tears (and not just mine). We will miss each other’s every day. I will miss the daily sounds of her playing piano. She will miss my spaghetti and chicken fajitas. BUT, I am at such a peace because I am completely confident in where the Lord has placed her at @lipscombuniversity. May the Lord bless her and all the new freshmen starting this season of life!“
