John Luke And Mary Kate Robertson Welcomed Twins On February 24
John Luke and Mary Kate Robertson have been treasuring every second as new parents to twins.
The young Duck Dynasty stars announced in October that they were expecting twin daughters.
“Absolutely thrilled to tell y’all we are welcoming TWINS to our family early next year!!!” they shared on Instagram. “The most wonderful, crazy surprise blessing of our lives ha! Two new little Robertson girls!“
Their announcement post included a precious family photo with their three children, John Shepherd, Ella, and Wells.

The Robertson twins joined the family on February 24. John Luke and Mary Kate waited a few days to share the news of their arrival.
“Life is already so much sweeter with Sylvie & Francie in it. So thankful for these precious gifts!!“ they wrote alongside several photos of their newborn daughters.

John Luke’s mother, Korie Robertson, also celebrated the twins’ birth in her own post. She shared several pictures of Sylvie and Francie with their family, writing:
“Our twin girls are here! Sylvie and Francie, you are everything we prayed for and more. Perfect little miracle gifts from God. We can’t stop staring at you, and noticing all of the beautiful little details about you. We love you with all of our hearts.”
Mary Kate Robertson Shares New Photos Of Twin Daughters Sylvie And Francie
On March 6, Mary Kate offered a glimpse into her life with newborn twins. She shared multiple new photos of Sylvie and Francie, and they’re absolutely adorable.
One of the best pictures (the third in the carousel) shows nearly five-year-old Ella holding one of her baby sisters. Your heart will melt when you see that sweet snapshot!
Mary Kate kept the caption simple, writing, “1 week home with our tiniest girls.”
Her post received many affectionate comments from her family and followers. Korie said the girls are “the very best. Mary Kate’s sister-in-law, Rebecca, commented, “Sweetness,” with three red heart emojis.

In an Instagram Story post, Mary Kate revealed the fun backstory behind one of the twins’ names. She shared that “Francie” was the name they had chosen for a girl before their youngest son, Wells, was born in 2023.
They didn’t know Wells’ gender in advance, so they bought a “Francie” sweater and a “Wells” sweater. They ended up needing the Wells sweater, and the one with Francie’s name got tucked away…until now!
When Mary Kate and John Luke learned they were having twin girls, they bought them both sweaters with their names in a matching shade of pink. So Francie ended up having two customized sweaters!
Congratulations to the Robertsons on the birth of their twins. They have such a beautiful family.
