Dolly Parton And Brother Randy Duet To Song “You Are My Christmas”

In August 2020, Dolly Parton announced she would be releasing her first Christmas album in 30 years, which is appropriately titled A Holly Dolly Christmas. In a post announcing the album, which dropped on October 2, Parton revealed a few of the people who will be joining her, including Miley Cyrus, Willie Nelson, Michael BublĂ©, Jimmy Fallon, Billy Ray Cyrus, “and more,” she teased.

One of those “more” people included her very own brother, Randy!

As it turns out, Dolly isn’t the only musical one in her family of 11 brothers and sisters. Randy has proved himself time and time again that he can carry a tune well, even recording “Roll On” before Alabama did!

Most people know the Alabama version but Randy Parton sang the hit years before they recorded it! His performance goes to show that talent truly runs in the Parton family.

The two also teamed up with their sister Rachel to sing “Sweet By and By” for Dolly’s 1999 Precious Memories TV special.

Once again, Dolly and Randy teamed up, but this time for a Christmas song titled “You Are My Christmas.” The siblings sing about what Christmas really means, family and love!

Sadly, Randy passed away the following year on January 21, 2021.

Take a listen to the sweet sibling duet below. Rest in peace, Randy.
