13-year-old ventriloquist Darci Lynne made her debut at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium over the weekend, just one day after she performed at the Grand Ole Opry for the first time.

At one of her two Ryman performances, she and her cowgirl puppet Katie sang a few songs together. A few days before the show, Darci treated us to a country-fied duet to “Take Me Home, Country Roads” to get us ready for her Nashville tour dates.  Check it out below.

Darci Lynne – Take Me Home, Country Roads

My country girl, Katie, knows how to get in the country spirit with our own rendition of "Take Me Home, Country Roads"!•Nashville, can’t wait to see you guys at the Ryman Auditorium this Saturday! Just a few tickets are left at http://smarturl.it/DarciLynneRyman

At the Ryman, one of the songs she and Katie sang was Patsy Montana’s 1934 hit “I Want to Be a Cowboy’s Sweetheart,” which calls for some yodeling. The crowd was enjoying the song, but once she started yodeling, the audience went wild with applause!

Being able to yodel is impressive on it’s own, but to yodel as Katie – with her mouth closed – is another level of impressive. She traded off lyrics between Katie and her normal singing voice, giving the audience a performance they will likely never forget.
