Just months into their relationship, this retiring NASCAR driver told reporters her plans for the final race and how they involved her new boyfriend, Aaron Rodgers.
Danica Patrick recently started dating the Green Bay Packers quarterback, and officially came out about the relationship just a month after confirming she and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. had ended their own five-year relationship.
Patrick is participating in the Daytona 500 and Indy 500 as her final two races in her motorsport career – so naturally, she may want to have her new man on hand to see the special moment. But to have her new boyfriend at the same track as her ex might be a tricky situation.
Speaking to ESPN, Patrick revealed what she was looking forward to about the race, and revealed if she had decided to bring Rodgers along for her final run in NASCAR’s top division.
“I’m actually just excited that he gets to see what I do,” Patrick said during the Daytona media day. “He’ll get to see me in my [driver] suit. I’ve never seen him in his uniform [to play] in person.”
Confirming Rodgers will be on hand for the race, this puts not only two NFL stars at the world-famous track, but also runs the chance that Rodgers and Stenhouse could cross paths.
