Dancing With The Stars’ Most Emotional Night Took Place On Tuesday (Oct 14)

Tuesday night (October 14) was Dedication Night on Dancing With The Stars. Each celebrity chose a person in their life to dedicate their dance to, and that person was even included in the dance, making it all the more emotional.

Each celebrity chose a different important person in their life, and each dance brought tears to all the viewers’ faces.

Robert Irwin gave a very emotional tribute to his mother, Terri Irwin, who raised him and Bindi by herself following the death of his dad, Steve Irwin, when he was two years old.

Prior to the dance, Robert wrote on Instagram, “Tonight I dance for my mum, the strongest person I know. My mum and dad created a legacy that I’m proud to continue. I hope I can use this dance to share what she means to me, to our family, and to say thank you for always supporting me through life’s ups and downs.”

There wasn’t a dry eye in the entire ballroom after Robert’s tribute to his mom, which had Terri and Robert finish the dance in an emotional embrace.

Other highlights included Dylan Efron’s dance with his five-year-old sister, Elaine Hendrix’s dance with her longtime best friend, actress Lisa Ann Walter, Whitney Leavitt’s tribute to her husband, and Jen Affleck’s dedication to her mother.

The night was filled with emotion as celebrities honored their children, their partners, and their friends. Fans online were saying that it would be cruel to eliminate someone on such an emotional night, and we agree!

The Stars Lined Up For Elimination

After all the celebrities performed their dances, they lined up on the iconic steps for the elimination, just as they’ve done every week. Each week, hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough reveal which couples are safe until they get down to three couples. Then, they reveal which couple is voted off.

The lights went low when Alfonso said, “The first couple who is safe is…”

As everyone was was standing there with nerves, the host finished his sentence by saying, “All of you! No one is going home tonight!”

Every single person on the cast dropped their jaws in disbelief.

Julianne added, “We couldn’t send anyone home tonight on such a special night. All of the scores and all of the votes from tonight will carry over to next week.”

The celebrities, Robert Irwin, Alix Earle, Whitney Leavitt, Jen Affleck, Scott Hoying, Andy Richter, Elaine Hendrix, Dylan Efron, Danielle Fishel, and Jordan Chiles will all compete next week, which is Wicked-themed and will be guest-judged by the movie’s director, Jon M. Chu.

Tune in next week to see who will be the next celebrity eliminated.
