It seems the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree in the Campbell family. Country singer Craig Campbell, who is responsible for the hit songs “Outskirts of Heaven,” “Family Man,” and “Keep Them Kisses Comin’,” has passed down his passion for music to his young daughter, Preslee.

Actually, both his daughters have proven their musical talent multiple times, but the latest video Craig uploaded of Preslee singing takes the cake. Craig and Preslee have shared several duets, but it looks like Preslee is ready for her solo career!

Already a piano player, the young girl is also mastering the guitar, as well as trying her hand at songwriting. After getting the melody and the feel of the song down, she went to her country-singin’ father to see what he thought.

He took the opportunity to record her to show just how proud he is.

“And so it begins,” Campbell wrote accompanying the video. “She said, ‘Daddy, I started writing this song. This is all I have so far…what do you think?'”

Titled “Moving On,” the elementary schooler proved she has an incredible ability to put words to music and make it sound like an actual song that could be played on the radio!

She sang the lyrics, “Baby, I told you/ To stay away from me/ But baby, I don’t care what you say/But I’m movin’ on with someone else today” while strumming to her black guitar.

We can’t wait to watch her grow up into an incredible singer.  Watch Preslee perform her original song “Movin’ On” below.
