A country artist is asking for prayers for his wife who has been hospitalized after a mass was found on her colon.
Coffey Anderson, who is known to many as a popular YouTube personality and competitor on Nashville Star, requested prayers for his wife Criscilla via an Instagram post Tuesday (June 12). The post includes a photo of Criscilla resting in a hospital bed while holding her husband’s hand.
“We are waiting on results from some tests, she has been through more needle poking, blood taking, and worse things than I’ve ever heard of someone having,” Coffey captioned the photo. “I just sit here feeling helpless at times but still believing that God is faithful. Take a second, when you’re at a stoplight, looking for your phone, or waiting on an elevator to say a prayer.”
An update was posted later in the day that a procedure has helped relieve some of Criscilla’s pain, but that surgery was scheduled for Wednesday in which a mass was going to be removed.

Many of the “I Wanna Be Your Cowboy” singer’s fans weren’t aware of Criscilla’s hospitalization, but a post on her personal Instagram page shows that she has been hospitalized since the middle of last week. On Sunday (June 10), Criscilla took to Instagram to praise her husband and thank him for his support through this trying time.
“He’s been my rock through all of this. Day 3 in the hospital and he’s brought in my mom, flown in my best friend, called up our family village, keep family in the loop, weaned Everleigh from nursing, fought for answers with our amazing doctors and nurses, all while being so loving to me,” Criscilla wrote. “He’s my real hero. I love you @coffeyanderson – thank you for being you.”
Mrs. Anderson added that a mass or blockage had been found in her colon. Doctors don’t think it’s cancer but suspect Crohn’s disease. She concludes the emotional post with a plea for the pain to go away.
