Several country singers have already announced they’re welcoming new additions in 2022!
We’ll keep this list updated if more country artists announce pregnancies throughout the year. In the meantime, head below to meet all of the singers we know are expecting!
Jennifer Wayne
Jennifer Wayne of Runaway June is expecting her first child in April. She and her singer-songwriter husband Austin Moody shared the happy news in November 2021.
“OH BABY!!!! @theaustinmoody and I are bringing the pups home a little girl!!!” Jennifer wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of their dogs. She also revealed her daughter’s name: Lily Maria Moody.
Baby Lily is joining a famous family tree. Jennifer is the granddaughter of John Wayne, making Lily his great-granddaughter!
Drew Scott
While he’s most well-known as the star of the HGTV series Property Brothers, Drew Scott is also a country singer! He and his twin brother, Jonathan, have released a few country songs as The Scott Brothers.
The duo’s 2016 song “Hold On” reached the 38th spot on the Hot Country Songs chart and is their most popular song to date. Its official music video has over six million views on YouTube.
Drew also recorded a song called “You Chose Me.” He surprised his wife, Linda Phan, with the song on their wedding day in 2018.
The couple recently surprised their fans by announcing they’re expecting their first child! They told People Linda is due in May.
“It has been an adventure to get here!” Drew and Linda said in a joint statement on social media. “We know we’re not alone in this experience and that everyone’s is filled with unique challenges along the way…We hope as we grow through this, that even one of you reading this can also feel a little less lonely in whatever path you’re on!“
Luke Combs
Luke Combs and his wife, Nicole, are due to welcome their first child this spring.The couple announced they are expecting a baby boy.
“Here we go y’all!” Luke wrote when sharing the pregnancy news on social media. “Lil dude Combs is coming this Spring! Couldn’t be more excited to start a family with this babe. It’s gonna be a h— of a ride.”
“this may be the best year yet,” Nicole said in her own announcement post. We’re so excited for them!
