Randall King and His Fiancée Are Expecting Baby No. 1
Texas country artist Randall King and his fiancée, singer-songwriter Brittany Warthan, are expecting their first child this spring. The two shared the exciting news with US Weekly on Monday, January 13.
“I’m about to be a father,” King told the outlet. “I am responsible for a life. I’m responsible for my family. It’s definitely changed my perspective and it’s changed the angles of my songwriting. There’s a happiness in my writing now that wasn’t in my music forever.”

King is already channeling this new inspiration into his music. To celebrate the announcement, he and soon-to-be mom Brittany collaborated on a duet called “Baby Steps.” The song highlights their journey together and the exciting new chapter ahead as they prepare for parenthood.
“It takes you through pretty much our whole relationship and how we started, where we were,” King explained.
“We’ve really been through a whole lot, and the last year has been the most growth for us,” Warthan added.

When it came time to share the big news with King, Warthan chose an adorable approach. While the couple was playing a simple game of Uno, which they were recording for social media (at least that’s what King thought), she used the moment to surprise him.
“These Uno cards have blank spots where you write in your own rule,” King said explaining the moment. “Sometimes you drop that card and it’s a blank white spot. You just make up a rule. … She drops this card. She had written on the card, and I was like, ‘That’s weird. What’s this rule going to be?’ It said, ‘Draw four. The baby’s on the way.’”
Randall King and Brittany Warthan join a growing list of country music couples expecting babies in 2025. Others set to welcome little ones this year include HARDY and his wife Caleigh, American Idol alum Emmy Russell, Jesse Keith Whitley, and more.
