“Making my Opry debut was really special. To be part of this great history and to follow some of the greats in great country music is a dream come true,” he said. “When I arrived, I had my own reserved parking spot with my name on it, and I felt completely welcomed. It was surreal to stand at the artist entrance, and it was only the beginning of an incredible night.”

That reserved spot he was talking about…he got to keep the sign!

On Tuesday (Nov. 29), Mike Ryan made a social media post revealing that his tour bus had sustained damage. From the photos, it looks like a rear engine fire. The back of the bus was charred with pieces of the back completely missing. One of the only things to make it unscathed was his reserved parking spot sign from his Grand Ole Opy debut. We’re talking not one single flame touched it!

Along with posting three photos from the aftermath, Mike wrote, “There isn’t much good news here but at least no one was on the bus when it happened. No one hurt…we’ll replace what was lost and keep on chuggin [sic] along. At least my @opry sign made it…(swipe left) We’ll see y’all in Mississippi this weekend.”

We’re happy that no one was on the bus, and that he is in good spirits about everything! See the photos below.
