On Sunday (August 8), country singer Josh Ward was involved in an accident while riding a horse. He suffered “serious abdominal injuries and internal bleeding” and required surgery to stop the bleeding. Thankfully, that surgery was successful. His team said he “will be in the hospital this week and will require a few weeks at home to fully recover.”

Ward himself posted a day later, explaining that after he was able to walk a little bit, the only thing he needed was his guitar. He also thanks his fans for the support he’s been given the last ten days.
“God has plans for me, I’m just gonna let him lead the way. Thank you for your love and concern,” he wrote.
