The Crash Prevented Corey From Attending His Father’s Wedding

The cast of Pawn Stars often have a “buddy” they can turn to for their expertise on a particular subject… For Gold & Silver Pawn Shop co-owner Corey Harrison, 42, his latest “buddy” was likely a doctor.

On Monday, January 26, Corey, the son of Rick Harrison on the History Channel series Pawn Stars, provided an update on his health following a single-vehicle wreck from three days earlier.

Sharing images from the hospital on his Instagram, Corey wrote, “Pretty messed up but I’m good.”

He added, “Crash bars are awesome,” suggesting they may have been responsible for ensuring his injuries were not worse.

Continuing, he detailed that he had spent three nights in the hospital, adding that they treated him for “11 breaks in [his] rib cage.”

Piling on to the injury, Corey concluded his post by writing, “Pops looks like I’m missing your wedding.”

As for his father’s wedding, Rick, 60, had a wedding ceremony earlier this year in Las Vegas. There, he and his now-wife, Agripina “Angie” Polushkin, were married by an Elvis impersonator.

That ceremony, Rick said, was more of a legal formality.

Their wedding ceremony over the weekend — the one that Corey missed — was held in Cancun.
