Colt Ford Shares Exciting News With Fans
In April 2024, country singer Colt Ford faced a terrible health scare when he suffered a heart attack right after stepping off the stage at Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row in Arizona.
The 54-year-old spent a significant amount of time in the ICU until his condition improved. Ford later opened up to fans about how serious his situation was, revealing that he actually died twice, once right after his heart attack before being revived and again while being transported to the hospital.
After undergoing emergency surgery, the “Farm Life” singer had three stents placed in his heart.
Ford’s heart attack came just three years after he had undergone surgery for eye cancer. Fortunately, he healed well from the operation.
Fast forward five months later after his near-fatal heart attack, Colt Ford made an incredible return to the stage. While his health issues forced him to cancel the rest of his scheduled shows last year, he surprised fans with an unexpected appearance alongside his good friend Brantley Gilbert at Gilbert’s album release party in Downtown Nashville back in September.
