Criscilla Anderson Passed Away At Age 45 Following A Brave Battle With Cancer

Accomplished dancer and choreographer Criscilla Anderson, the ex of country artist Coffey Anderson, recently passed away at the age of 45. Criscilla bravely battled cancer for years, receiving her initial diagnosis in 2018. She chronicled her journey on social media, where she also expressed her love for her faith and her family.

Before her passing, Criscilla penned a message to her fans and her children for them to read after she was gone. Her dear friend, Lindsey, shared this message on Criscilla’s Instagram page on Tuesday (December 2).

My sweet community, If you’re reading this, I’ve finally slipped into the arms of Jesus — peacefully and surrounded by love,” Criscilla wrote. “Please don’t stay in the darkness of this moment. I fought hard and I loved deeply. I am not gone… I’m Home.”

She addressed each of her four children individually before telling them that she will always be with them.

My babies… I am watching over you. When a moment feels warm, familiar, or too beautiful to be coincidence — that’s me. I’m still mothering you. I’m still yours.”

Criscilla married Coffey Anderson in 2009, and they starred in the 2020 Netflix reality show Country Ever After. The couple shared three children, and Criscilla was a devoted “bonus mom” to Coffey’s daughter, Savannah.

At the time of her death, Criscilla’s Instagram bio read that she was “divorced.” Reports from outlets such as E! News state Coffey filed for divorce in 2022. Others, such as PEOPLE, report that they were still “in the midst of a divorce” when Criscilla passed.

Coffey shared an emotional statement on social media after Criscilla’s death, writing:

We miss you already. Our hearts are shattered. Our minds are jumbled. Our lives will never be the same. The house is quieter because you’re missing. The babies are resilient and strong as ever. We did good with them. So, dance your heart out on the beach in heaven. No more pain, no colostomy bag, no more neuropathy, no chemo, or radiation and you can eat as much dessert as you want with no calories.”
