Cody Johnson Says His Daughters Will Keep His Last Name (Instagram/Cody Johnson)
Country star Cody Johnson is a family man at his core.
Johnson and his wife, Brandi, have two daughters, Clara Mae and Cori, and welcomed their first son, Jaycee, last year. The country singer always makes his family his number one priority, sharing in the past how he will often bring Brandi and the girls on tour with him.
“We’re very fortunate — my wife and my two girls get to come with me a lot on the bus. We got our own bus just for that,” Johnson told PEOPLE Now. “And when you’re gonna go on the lead singer’s bus you think you’re gonna see a lot of things, not toys and diapers everywhere, but that’s generally what it looks like.”

“For me, when I got married and when I had my daughter, those are two things that – when it does feel like work – makes me feel like I’m working for my family. I look around and just feel so blessed, because the opportunities that have been laid at my feet are second-to-none,” the country star explained.
Cody Johnson’s Daughters Plan To Carry On His Legacy
While Johnson was over the moon to finally get his boy, his little girls clearly have their daddy wrapped around their fingers.
“My girls, you can’t beat my girls, I love my two girls with all my heart,” Johnson previously said.
The “Til You Can’t” singer even said Clara Mae and Cori will keep the Johnson last name when they get married one day.
“Both of my girls told me that they were going to hyphenate their name when they got married,” Johnson shared. “So I was kind of like ‘Well, I already kinda got it going.'”
Its pretty special even at this age Cody Johnson’s little girls want to forever carry on his legacy.
