The Black Gold Bash is scheduled for Wednesday, June 7. The event is hosted by Oilfield Helping Hands, and helps raise funds for oil industry workers and their families who need financial assistance. This is Black Gold Bash’s fifth year.
Since Black is unable to perform at this year’s Black Gold Bash, a replacement was found. According to the Midland Reporter-Telegram, fellow country singer Clay Walker will now perform during the Black Gold Bash in Black’s place. He will take to the stage at 9 PM. The Rick Carr Band and Coddy Hibbard will perform earlier in the day.
