Legendary Action Star Chuck Norris Has Died
Chuck Norris, the iconic actor and martial artist, passed away on March 19th at the age of 86. One day prior, reports were made that he was hospitalized in Hawaii for undisclosed medical issues. The family confirmed his passing on Friday, March 20th. They wrote:
“It is with heavy hearts that our family shares the sudden passing of our beloved Chuck Norris yesterday morning. While we would like to keep the circumstances private, please know that he was surrounded by his family and was at peace.
To the world, he was a martial artist, actor, and a symbol of strength. To us, he was a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, an incredible brother, and the heart of our family.”

Chuck Norris is survived by his wife of 27 years, Gena O’Kelley, and five children: Mike, Eric, Dakota, Danilee, and Dina.

Chuck Norris Remembered By His Daughter
His 24-year-old daughter, Danilee, took some time to write a heartfelt tribute to her father before taking some “much-needed” time for herself. She wrote:
“My dad was my protector the moment I was born and as soon as he took me in his arms, I’ve been his little girl. That was something I would always acknowledge even when I was too big to be cradled properly.”
Her post contained a series of sweet father-daughter photos from over the years. She continued:
“My dad loved so deeply and cared for every single person in his life with so much tenderness. He may have a warrior exterior, but his heart was so full of love and I’m so grateful that is something he and my mom passed down to me.”

Dakota Norris Pens Touching Message To His Father
Dakota Norris, Chuck’s youngest son, addresses his father directly in an emotional tribute shared online. He wrote:
“You’ve been the man I looked up to my whole life. Your generosity, your kindness, your courage, your integrity, your strength, your discipline, and your faith in the Lord were just a handful of things I always admired about you.”
The 24-year-old shared a series of black-and-white photos that beautifully capture the warmth between the father and son. He continued:
“You were the greatest father God could have ever given me and the finest man I’ve ever known. No matter what I was going through, you were always there. You made sure I knew how much you loved me. Honest to God, I don’t think there was a single day that went by where you didn’t say it. I’m so proud to be your son.”
