Chris Stapleton Performs New Hit Single “White Horse” At The 57th Annual CMA Awards
Chris Stapleton experienced his breakout moment at the CMA Awards in 2015. Now, he’s a household name, with a new album on the way and a hit song galloping up the charts.
Stapleton is poised to release his fifth studio album, Higher, on November 10. The release comes just two days after the 2023 CMA Awards.
Higher contains a total of 14 tracks, including the lead single, “White Horse.” The song has reached the seventh spot on the Hot Country Songs chart so far, and crossed over to the 31st position on the all-genre Hot 100.
Stapleton Earns Three Nominations At 2023 CMA Awards
Riding off the success of “White Horse” and other projects, Stapleton earned three nominations at the 2023 CMA Awards. His collaboration with Carly Pearce, “We Don’t Fight Anymore,” was nominated for Musical Event of the Year.
Stapleton was also nominated for Male Vocalist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year. He’s won the former award six times, and is the reigning winner.
Stapleton was also tapped to perform not once, but twice during the ceremony. He performed “We Don’t Fight Anymore” with Pearce, and also delivered a solo performance of “White Horse.”
