It’s been a week of celebration for Fixer Upper stars Chip and Joanna Gaines. The famous couple welcomed their fifth child, Crew, last Saturday (June 23). Chip announced baby Crew’s arrival with a post that read, “And then there were 5.. The Gaines crew is now 1 stronger! 10 beautiful toes and 10 beautiful fingers all accounted for, and big momma is doing great!”

Joanna followed up her husband’s post with a series of photos documenting the baby’s arrival. “Our baby boy, Crew Gaines, is here and we couldn’t be more in love. He made an unexpected (and speedy) entrance into the world two and a half weeks early – which is fitting given he was a sweet surprise from day one. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. We are so grateful.”
While there has been no shortage of pictures, few have given us a glimpse at Crew’s handsome face. Monday night, Joanna took to Instagram to share a video clip on her IG story that showed the newborn contentedly perched on his momma’s lap watching his brothers playing wiffle ball. In the video, Crew’s face can be seen and he appears to have been blessed with his mom’s dark hair and beautiful eyes. See the screenshots below.
Chip and Joanna first announced that they were expecting another baby in January, just weeks after announcing that they were walking away from their incredibly popular HGTV series, Fixer Upper, after five seasons. “It was a total surprise,” Joanna told People. “But when we found out, it solidified that it was the right decision to leave when we did.”
Crew joins the Gaines’ other four children, Drake (age 13), Ella Rose (age 11), Duke (age 9), and Emmie Kay (age 8).
