Chip And Joanna Gaines Graduate From Harvard

They’ve conquered HGTV, and now they’ve conquered Harvard.

Chip and Joanna Gaines just graduated from Harvard University’s 2019 Business of Entertainment, Media, and Sports (BEMS), according to Fox News.

The BEMS program is taught by Harvard professor Anita Elberse and according to the university’s website, the three-day course uses faculty presentations, group discussions and case studies to “examine best practices and winning strategies in the worlds of film, television, publishing, music, and sports.”

The key topics include launching and managing creative products and portfolios, managing and marketing talent and responding to advances in digital technology.

Chip and Joanna were not only classmates, but also part of the “live case discussion,” which just so happened to fall on the couple’s 16th wedding anniversary!

We concluded the first full day of the BEMS program with a “live case” discussion with Magnolia legends @joannagaines and @chipgaines and, well… it’s pretty obvious that we had a blast. ? So interesting to learn more about how they got their start with Fixer Upper, grew it into a television phenomenon, built the Magnolia brand and drove crowds to Waco, Texas, and how they now approach the launch of their own network. They absolutely crushed it. ??? And to think that they are spending time with us while celebrating their 1️⃣6️⃣th wedding anniversary… Pretty impossible not to love these two — these are the kind of events I could only dream of when I started at @HarvardHBS — so I figured some cake was in order… ??? #Harvard #BEMS #lifeatHBS (? by my favorite sidekick @kev.wolf)

Other celebrity classmates included singer Ciera, actor Eric Olsen, Australian soccer star Tim Cahill,  and NBA stars Kevin Love and Julius Randle.
