Ree Drummond‘s kids have grown up on camera. So it only seemed fitting for “The Pioneer Woman” to film her eldest daughter Alex’s recent wedding for a TV special!
Alex married Mauricio Scott during a stunning outdoor ceremony on the Drummond Ranch on May 1. The reception was held under a large tent that was open on all sides and was filled to the brim with flowers and greenery.

Alex, Mauricio, and Ree have shared several photos from the wedding on social media. But now, Ree’s fans will get an even better look at Alex and Mauricio’s big day.
An hour-long special about Alex’s wedding will air on the Food Network on Saturday (June 26) at 11 AM EST. It will then be made available for streaming on Discovery+.
The special offers a behind-the-scenes look at how everything came together to make Alex and Mauricio’s wedding an unforgettable celebration. And it will feature plenty of funny and heartwarming moments as well!
“Lots of behind-the-scenes wedding fun, weather drama, and a few happy tears, too,” Ree said of the special. “It’ll be fun to experience it all while wearing jeans and no Spanx!”
Ree shared a sneak peek of the special through a video she shared on social media and her Pioneer Woman blog. The video serves as a sort of “trailer” for the special, offering a glimpse at what fans can expect to see:
“Drummond Ranch is where it’s all happening, on a beautiful piece of open prairie where there’s no water, no power, and we’re at the mercy of the weather,” Ree says in voiceover as clips show people putting together the tent and all of the decorations for the wedding. “But come rain or shine—or anything else that fate throws at us—this wedding is gonna happen.”
