When Carrie Underwood told her husband Mike Fisher she wanted cows for Christmas, she probably thought that was an outlandish request. But Mike followed through, and granted his wife’s Christmas wish.
Taking to Instagram Stories, Mike shared he was at a cattle auction and had dressed the part for the occasion.
“Cattle auction time!” Mike captioned a photo of him wearing a cowboy hat and plaid flannel shirt. “Big hat no cattle…yet.”
Fans were surely curious to know why Mike was at a cattle auction. Turns out he was there to get Carrie some Christmas presents!
After the auction, Mike shared a video of some cows walking around in the pasture and wrote “@CarrieUnderwood wanted cows for Christmas, Merry Christmas babe!!”
The new additions join Carrie and Mike’s many other animal family members. They have three dogs (Ace, Penny, and Zero), some horses, and some chickens.
Carrie and Mike’s sons, Isaiah and Jacob, are sure to love their new farmyard friends. We know for a fact that Isaiah loves getting into the Christmas spirit, since he sang “The Little Drummer Boy” with his mom on her new Christmas album My Gift. Listen to their performance below.
We hope Carrie, Mike, and their whole family has a merry Christmas this year!
