Carrie Underwood gave fans a small glimpse into her life as a mom of two when she honored her husband in a social media post on Father’s Day.
In the photo, Underwood’s husband of almost nine years, Mike Fisher, is seen playing with their two sons. 4-year-old Isaiah is behind Mike with what appears to be nunchucks pulled across his dad’s head, while Fisher holds 5-month-old Jacob. Fisher looks totally content in his role as dad, something Underwood noted in the photo’s caption. “I feel like this picture pretty much sums up fatherhood! To all the frog catching, bedtime story reading, wrestling, diaper changing, outside playing, adventure seeking, tickling, cuddling, loving dads out there, Happy Father’s Day! @mfisher1212 your boys sure do love you and are are so lucky to have you!”
Underwood and Fisher have shared few photos of baby Jacob since his birth in January, so fans have yet to see if the little guy looks just like his dad and brother, or if he took after his beautiful mom. But, some of Carrie’s tour mates recently let it slip that Jacob looks just like Carrie.
In a backstage interview at CMA Fest in Nashville, Runaway June’s Jennifer Wayne, who is currently touring with Carrie, shared, “He looks exactly like Carrie.” Adding that Isaiah resembles his dad. “Isaiah looks like Mike, and Jacob looks exactly like Carrie. It’s so cute.”
