Carrie Underwood And Husband Mike Fisher Make Rare Public Appearance Together
Over the weekend, Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher stepped out together to attend the Nashville Predators game against the Montreal Canadiens at Bridgestone Arena.
A moment from their date night was captured in a photo later shared on the Nashville team’s Instagram page. In it, Carrie is wearing a Predators jersey with the number 12, Mike’s number during his time with the team.
Standing beside her, Mike holds up a custom bobblehead of the two of them wearing matching Predators jerseys.
“Smashville legends in the house tonight,” the caption of the post read. “Welcome back @mfisher1212 & @carrieunderwood!”
Carrie and Mike likely felt right at home at the game, as it probably brought back plenty of memories. Mike played for the Predators from 2011 to 2017.
During his time, he was named team captain in 2016, and the following year, he helped lead the team to the Stanley Cup Finals.
Mike announced his retirement from the NHL in August 2017. However, he later decided to reverse that decision and play one more season before officially retiring in 2018.

Carrie and Mike have been married for more than 15 years.
They began dating in 2008 and got married during a Georgia ceremony in 2010.
The couple has successfully kept their relationship and personal lives out of the spotlight for the past two decades. In fact, it’s rare to see them together in public.
Some of the few times they’ve been spotted side by side include appearances where Mike joined Carrie as her date at award shows.
The “Jesus, Take The Wheel” singer has been open about keeping her life on stage separate from her life at home on their Tennessee farm. Their top priority is making sure their sons, Isaiah (11) and Jacob (7), grow up as normally as possible.
“I went from living on a farm to being on stage in front of a ton of people and traveling and we’re in a different city every day,” Carrie said while appearing on a March 26 episode of SiriusXM’s Front Row. “I learned very quickly that this is not real life.”
“It’s important for me that home is just way different than this,” she continued. “We have definitely established that. My kids see me. We get up, we take them to school, we’re making breakfast, packing lunches.”
The eight-time Grammy winner also recently talked about the idea of her kids following in her footsteps during an interview on The View.
For now, she’s not in favor of her sons auditioning for a singing competition like she did to launch her career. Carrie says they would need to be older and “more established” in themselves before she’d consider something like that.
At the end of the day, her focus isn’t on fame as a country star; it’s on being “mom.”
“Home is home,” Carrie said. “Being on stage and being at home, those are two different people, pretty much. And I love that because they’ll come to shows and they’ll see me do what I do. And I feel that they’re proud, but then Mom makes dinner.”
“I hope more than anything, that’s what they take away from me,” she added. “And that’s what they remember about me. She was Mom, and then every once in a while, she’d go and get on stage.”
