Carrie Underwood baby watch is officially happening! The singer and her husband Mike Fisher are expecting the arrival of their second son any day, and fans are anxiously awaiting the news of Baby Fisher’s birth. Both Carrie and Mike have been fairly quiet on their social media accounts during the last month, causing a great deal of speculation over the baby’s exact due date.

Underwood’s friend and soon-to-be tour mate Taylor Dye, one half of the country duo Maddie & Tae, let it slip during an interview in November that the Fisher’s new baby is due in January. Carrie didn’t confirm the news, but photos shared by the proud parents definitely indicate that the date is near.

On January 12, Underwood posted a cryptic tweet that simply read, “Neeeeeed tooooooo sleeeeeeeep.” That could have indicated that baby Fisher had arrived and the tired mommy was desperate for sleep as she learned to juggle being a mom of two. Or, it just meant that her growing belly was making her uncomfortable and that she wasn’t sleeping well.

The latter theory appears to be the more likely scenario as a recent picture shared to social media shows Underwood posing between two young fans. Carrie’s belly isn’t visible, but it’s safe to say that she probably wouldn’t be venturing out so soon after giving birth if her baby had arrived. The photo is the first fan photo we’ve seen of the “Jesus, Take the Wheel” singer in weeks.

It’s unclear where the photo was taken, but it was posted on January 17 by Lance Curtis, an aspiring country singer from Arkansas. “Look who Lawson Caughron and I got to visit with! Shout out to Carrie Underwood!!!!! She is extremely nice and such a down to earth Young lady! She’s just as Gorgeous in person as she is on TV!! Thank you Carrie for setting such a great example for everyone else!!” Curtis captioned the photo.
