The 2006 CMT Awards could not have prepared for the wild ride they were about to experience as stunning Underwood made her way on stage in sexy silver shorts and a sharp look that could cut through ice!
Sporting a classy up-do, Underwood made her way down the stage and approached a chair placed on a platform squarely centered in the crowd. Straddling the chair, the singer revved up the audience while singing some powerful lyrics, “I took a Louisville slugger to both head lights/ I slashed a hole in all four tires/ Maybe next time he’ll think before he cheats.”
Kicking the chair into the crowd, Underwood rose to her feet to close out perhaps one of the sexiest performances we’ve ever experienced! The sassy anthem was released in 2005 on the singer’s album Some Hearts. The tune served as the perfect statement for women who have had experiences with a cheating partner, quickly gaining steam as one of her most notable songs.
