Musical stars come together to celebrate Christmas at Disney Parks around the world
Country music sweetheart Carly Pearce was among the special guests for the 2024 Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade on December 25th.
Hosted by Dancing with the Stars staples Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro, the annual parade and music special aired on ABC has become a seasonal favorite for viewers of all ages.
Alongside Pearce, John Legend, Elton John, Pentatonix, and more artists lent their talents to the festive celebration. Performances were broadcast from Disney parks around the world, including California, Florida, and Paris.

The story behind “The Man with the Bag”
Irving Taylor, Dudley Brooks, and Hal Stanley originally wrote the cheerful tune in 1950. It was made popular by vocalist Kay Starr, who was married to Stanley at the time.
“(Everybody’s Waitin’ for) The Man with the Bag” is an homage to the beloved Christmas figure Santa Claus, who delivers gifts to those who have been “extra special good.”

Pearce looked stunning in a red embellished dress with matching gloves. Her performance embodied the joy of “The Man with the Bag,” and the live audience danced along.
The 31-year-old delivered the song effortlessly. She previously performed “The Man with the Bag” one year earlier at Christmas in Rockefeller Center.
